Evaluation Standards
The competition will be evaluated by incorporating the judges' review and online public voting.
1. The judges of the Competition will review the entries from four dimensions in project's innovative elements, project’s feasibility, project’s sustainability, and the social and economic benefits of the project. Each of which accounts for a certain percentage of points.
2. The result of the finals will be determined by the judges' score on-site and the online public voting score: The judges' score on-site accounts for 95% of the total score and the online public voting score accounts for 5% of the total score.
3. Online voting scoring standards: The organisers will arrange the online public voting on a specified date for the finalists. The number of votes online will determine the score of the online vote.

Project's Innovative Elements Projects are first proposed, selected or discovered by the competitor (new technology, new patented invention, new creation); or the projects made innovative improvement to the traditional solutions or existing products/models and achieved results. 15 30
The project focuses on the current problems in the corresponding field and utilises "innovation" (new technology or new solution) to achieve ground-breaking application in the field. 15
Project's Feasibility Through market research and analysis, the competitor can accurately estimate the current and future target market and market space of the project. 10 30
The project is highly practicable and can be implemented and promoted. It is also suitable for the development and construction of the Eco-City. 10
The project has clear and detailed management measures for further operation management, ensuring the operation of the project. 10
Project's Sustainability The project is easily replicable, scalable and practicable (e.g. the possibility of industrialisation; it can not only address the current problems, but also can provide long-term effective solutions). 10 20
The long-term development planning of the project is reasonable, with sufficient manpower and financial support. 10
Social and Economic Benefits of the Project The project with strong pertinence towards a certain issue, with outstanding social and economic benefits. 20 20
*The project will be given extra points if it can be settled in the Eco-City after being evaluated by experts and the Eco-City.
